Church is BACK!

Hi Bayside Church family,

Exciting news! We will be starting a trial for church services onsite at Bayside Church on Sunday 26th July. The Government and Health Department have recently lifted some restrictions so we now have a 4m2 per person rule for gatherings. This means that we can still only fit about 70 people inside the church auditorium, but we can have 175 people outside, plus 30 kids and leaders in the hall.

Thank you for all those who replied to the survey last week, with over 70% wanting to trial outdoor services, with some sitting under the covered fellowship area and some on the grass. We will also have some marquees set up.

We will be starting at 10.00 am so that it is warmer outside by then, and have a 1 hour service of worship, prayer and ministry of the Word of God, with time for fellowship afterwards.

You will need to register for a seat as we cannot go over the set numbers. Social distancing and other Covid Safe health guidelines will be followed.

If you miss out on registering your attendance for the first week back you can choose to register for the following Sunday. We request that if you choose to attend a Sunday service that you do so fortnightly to allow for other people to also attend services, alternating weeks.

The registration link can be found through our website however will not be active for registration till Monday 9 am. Our social media and church website will also share these details. We encourage people to arrive at 9.30 am on the registered Sunday Service as the entry and seating process will take some time.

The other good news is that we will continue Church Online for those who would prefer to stay at home due to sickness, age or other health concerns, or if you miss out on getting a seat booked.

God has been so good during this season of shaking and uncertainty, and we are really looking forward to having worship, fellowship and ministry together again.

Love and blessings,

Ross and Mary-Lyn Davie
