SIXTY PLUS MINISTRIES

Bayside Sixty Plus is a programme for over 60's, either working or retired! The events held by Sixty Plus are to encourage friendship and fellowship in a relaxed setting.  This is also an excellent way, for those who are new to the church, to meet friends and feel part of the church family.

Sixty Plus also regularly meet on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Wednesday of every month. Morning tea is provided and is held in the fellowship area at 9:30 am. The meeting will then commence in the main Church Auditorium or the Ready Room. This programme includes times of singing, prayer, Bible study, guest speakers and wonderful fun days!

A bus is available to pick up any folk who do not have their own transport.

WEDNESDAY WORSHIP

Wednesday Worship is a mid-week service, run by Sixty Plus, but open to everyone.  It is held on the 1st Wednesday of every month.

Come and join in praise and worship, communion, a message from the Word of God and prayer for needs.  If you cannot attend a Sunday service or would enjoy a midweek service, you are welcome, no matter your age.

HELPING HANDS

Helping Hands Craft is a group of ladies who love to use their talents to bless others.  Craft stalls are held at shopping centres and at special events at Bayside church.  Garage sales are also held periodically for fundraising.  All funds raised go to support COAT, a ministry for orphans in China, and an Indigenous mission work in Kununurra, WA. Other craft is donated to Galangoor for newborn babies, the Cherbourg community, the newspaper babies in Africa, and other local charities.

All ladies who enjoy making crafts to support missions are welcome to join in.

OVERFLOW SUNDAY WORSHIP

During our Sunday services we endeavour to include all people in the worship experience.  Hence we have an overflow room available for those who have sensitive hearing and/or health concerns. This is a great place to worship and continue to be a vital part of the Bayside community.
